Boddington Gold Mine

Newmont Mining has undertaken an expansion of the Boddington Gold Mine worth more than $2 billion to tap into the world’s largest undeveloped gold deposits found in the southwest of Western Australia.

Korvest’s EzyStrut supplied AKCMR and MIE with a new product,WN3 cable ladder, which was designed and developed to meet the project’s specific requirements. More than 50km of cable ladder including fittings, covers, brackets and 41mm strut were supplied to the Boddington Gold Mine.

Price competitiveness and ability to meet the project’s deadlines through the Christmas break meant EzyStrut supplied the initial order ahead of schedule and at the original cost, with no price overruns.
